Hey Molly, CF is right. All it takes is a little nudge and some pointers and you are on your way. There are many sites that offer help.

It's been like forever since I used photoshop or illustrator, but with a just a little guidance from my brother I am now creating avatars and signatures.

Shockingly... *knock wood*... I haven't had a single issue with Vista. I know. It's supposed to be glitchy as anything, but mine's been super-smooth... and even happily runs a 10 year old copy of photoshop.
