Aaron....Good or Evil?

Thought this might be a good debate topic: Is Aaron good or evil?

What do we know? Richard Malkin told Claire that her baby must not be "raised by another." Aaron is being raised by Kate at this point, not Claire. So what are the concequences of this? Charlie tells Hurley that Jack isn't supposed to raise him. Claire told Kate not to bring him back. Is Aaron going to become evil and do something that will negatively affect the island?

What do you all think?

Maybe it's not so much about him being good or evil, but about being reared a certain way to achieve something. Maybe he's kind of like the island's Dalai Lama.

I think he can go either way depends on who and how he`s raised.

Nature or nurture.....I guess that is the question

LD I think its probably a topic for a mini debate. I'm not sure I could stretch to 1000 words on it with the evidence we have so far.

He is cute, but I like the reaction from my girlfriend when he's on screen and I call him evil.


The thing is, I agree that it is nature Vs. nurture, but Aaron is not being raised by Claire like he is supposed to, he is being raised by Kate, 3 years running now.

Not to mention that Kate and Jack were total messes while they were off the island and raising Aaron. "Look Aaron, is mommy on TV getting tried for murder" or "Why is daddy (uncle Jack) yelling at mommy, and why is he talking so funny." I think I recall Aaron walking in on them fighting, right after Jack mentioned that Kate wasn't related to him.

That can all be some bad stuff for a kid as he's growing up.

i think that Aaron is the new Jon Locke. First Ben, then Jon, now Aaron. Its a cycle for the Island somehow.

Aaron is the only person to be born on the island for apparently a long time.
Hurley tells Jack, that Jack is not supposed tp raise him, then Claire shows up, Doesn't say "keep him away from Jack" but rather, "don't bring him back, don't you dare". WTF?!?!?
I think Alpert and the Others have some kind of sinister plan perhaps for Aaron. (Ethan tried pretty hard to get ahold of him). And that is why Claire now wants to keep him from coming back.

Someone(sorry i can't remember who) wrote a good theory about how Aaron shouldn't be raise by "An Other", not "another".
