My eldest daughter got her GCSE results......

.....and i'm so proud of my baby girl!!

She got an A in both her maths and science exams, and an A* in both her maths and science course work (100% for science, 96% for maths).

She is staying in school to do her A-levels in maths and science next year and plans to go to university and study the same subjects. She is already a year ahead at school, and has been excelling in Maths since she was very young (shes 15 now), being invited to join a maths club at highschool when she was still in primary school!

If we don't boast for our kids, no one will. Congrats on her outstanding scores.

I also have a 15 year old daughter. Things like this make a parent smile.

Jax, That is just wonderful. You are a proud parent,and you have very good reason to be proud.

As a mother myself, I believe there is no better feeling ,than to see the fruits of your labor of love, be rewarded by seeing your child your child excel in their endeavors.

Thanks guys I've booked a week off work before she goes back to school, and taking her shopping for shoes and to get her hair done as a reward kind of thing......her choice lol

Well done, she must have put in a huge effort in her studies, an effort that has now been rewarded. I say she has a very interesting and rewarding future ahead of her.

She did put a lot of hardwork in love her....her other grades were a B in english and a C in relgious studies, but it was maths and science she was the most concerned about as they are her thing.....I tell ya, shes gonna change the world lol

I would say as a proud Mom, you have every reason to boast! She sounds like a very smart young lady! Knowledge is power, and education everything! You done good Jax!

I think that not only your daughter needs to be rewarded, you should be rewarded too! Obviously you are a great mother or else she wouldn't be doing as well as she is. So, congrats to the both of you!

Now, on to more pressing issues... she is that good at math eh? Maybe we should have her take a look at the Valenzetti Equation... eh???
