Widmore Death Scene Contest!!!

Fellow Lost Fanatics,

For those of you who have read this interview: http://losties.darkbb.com/other-lost-stuff-f10/alan-dale-is-kind-of-a-jerk-t922.htm , you probably think that Alan Dale isn't far off from his character of Charles Widmore. In fact, I don't really like either right now. Charles Widmore, in my opinion, has always been a pain in the "arse" and a character that I really don't care for. With that said and with Dale's opinion on Lost, I have been thinking that I would kill him off in my season. Haha, revenge!!! Actually, I've been thinking about this from the beginning.

So, what I am doing here is this... I want all of you to write a Charles Widmore death scene and PM it to me. What I will then do is select one and write it into an episode. So far I have had one submission from SomeArztOnYou. His idea is really clever and very poetic so he is in the lead... that and he is the only one who has submitted so far. GO ARZT!

For those of you reading my s5, you know Widmore's current situation (which is important and opens the door for some great possibilities). For those of you who aren't, I suggest you start reading up (or at least read 5.9)!

If you don't want to read 5.9 or you aren't a fan of my work, that doesn't matter either. If you want, just write a death scene. For those who don't want to write a scene, you can just write whatever you want as long as it gives the situation and circumstances of his death.

I will keep this open for a week. Remember! PM the scenes. I will later post the winner and the 2 runner ups. I think this could be fun. If the poll above chooses to save Widmore after a week, then I won't have a death scene... I will still post all the submissions though. Hell, maybe I will kill him off anyway... who knows!

Yeah, kill 'im. It'll be a bit like Charlies, you know its gonna happen but it's still so exciting. I don't the idea of a guy who jumped in halfway through season 3 becoming a main though.

Has anyone seen him in 'Ugly Betty' he plays a rich father in that too.

He played a rich father in the O.C. as well. He is def. typecast, but it suits his real personality. I think he played a rich character in the Aussie show "Neighbours" but I never saw it, so I don't know. Yeah, I agree that I hate he is now a main character, but I had to really make him main stream in my season to explain the Dharma stuff and his connection.

I'm not blaming you for putting him in the main story line. There was nothing else you could do. Season 4 set it all up to make him all important next season. I would just have prefered it to stay similar to the earlier seasons. But then again I guess the story would wear out qite early. Well this is why I'm not writting the scripts.

Ah, but the question is... CAN you write any? The answer is yes. So, Stickman, since you don't have school today (you don't go to school on Saturdays in England do you?), your assignment is to come up with a Widmore death scene and PM it to me. It doesn't have to have dialogue or anything, give me the basic scene of how you want Widmore to die. Start working!

Sure thing Boss. And no I don't have school on Saturday's. But all us British to live in big country houses and speak like Hugh Grant.

I have a total of 7 submissions now. To be honest, they are pretty awesome. It is going to be a rough choice to make.
