New mail about "BROAD SPECTRUM KNOWLEDGE ANALYSIS" test

Post by Occam on Fri Aug 29, 2008 7:26 am

Oddly enough, I received this email after having completed the test... confused

Ok, once again, this email has a "hidden" message:
Code:
meta name="Alert" content="The Dharma Initiative - Guiding the World to a Bitter Tomorrow - BS"
So, "bitter" instead of "better"... someone is trying to tell us the DI are not "the good guys", right? Is "BS" this someone? Certainly, it seems as a signature.

Also, the 'i' from 'better' being changed to 'bitter' was a further indication to the 'cheat'. Perhaps it might be better to not view them as cheats, rather as clues to aid performance?

Like the Viagra of Dharma Recruitment.

Everyone has noticed that the various groups for Test 2 are named after Cyclopes, right? (Because everyone knows about Cyclops and all its various names!) Again, the significance can be drawn from the 'i', eye.

Thinking back to the previous test - Pressurised Spatial where the group names were moons. Where are moons found? In space. And pressing space bar enabled the 'cheat'.

I-spy a pattern and a tapestry.

Very impressive AC
so if I press " I " then " I" could be a cheat or aid ...
I wonder who "BS" could be

BS could be Broad Spectrum, or... could it be the Black Swan Theory.

The Black Swan is a book by: "Nassim Nicholas Taleb", describing his theory.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_swan_theory

The black swan theory refers to a large-impact, hard-to-predict, and rare event beyond the realm of normal expectations.
