Am I the only one who semi-liked Cloverfield?
The ending of Cloverfield is the most important part of the whole thing. When the monster is shown shooting into the ocean from space, I think that was a slight nod to LOST in some sort of strange way (don't ask me how). I think Lost has something to do with something falling from space in some form or another (there is a rather large crator in the island). The monster was a little... contrived and I wish it weren't a big weird crazy thing, but the movie wasn't about the monster...
Believe me, I don't give the movie a 5/5 it is more along the lines of a 3/5.
I'm beginning to think that the whole ARG is based on the cheats, however, I haven't used them for either test and I'm in the same grouping as people who have used them now. So I don't have a clue.... Molly, I agree with you for the most part except for Shannon. I liked her!

I feel guilty, I have cheated now on every test. Still maybe Jacob will forgive me.

Re: Test 2 Results
JW, I loved Cloverfield. I don't mind admitting it. Maybe people had different expectations of it. All I saw was a rocking monster movie that did something new with the genre; nothing more, but certainly nothing less.
(By the way, I seem to have read that the thing falling in the ocean at the end was some kind of satellite? And then there was an online viral about the possibility of some deep sea drilling company digging too deep? From that I was getting 'outer space spores mixed with deep sea life equalling uncontrollable monster. And according to the DVD, the Cloverfield monster was just a baby, scared and running amok in this strange new world. . .)

Deep sea drilling eh? Satellite eh? That all seems to be "digging a little too deep" for some answers, pun intended. I guess the only way I could see that coming about is the fact that the oil tanker was flipped over in the beginning, but a satellite? Where did that come from? Yeah, I did read/hear/see the baby thing, which makes you feel some sympathy for the monster. It wouldn't be a JJ product if you didn't feel a little som'n som'n for the bad guy.

Yeah, but mine was slightly different - "Because your score was so much higher than John Ventham's score..."
I invited Damon and Carlton, but they said they had better things to do, and anyway they'd heard the "Dharma Wants You" game was a yawn at best.
