RE: CONFIRMATION OF LAUNCH DATE FOR VOLUNTEER TESTING

I am pleased to announce that, following an extensive security audit of all departments within the Dharma Initiative, I am totally satisfied that DharmaWantsYou.com is now secure. As a result I am able to confirm a date for the commencement of our latest volunteer testing program.

I have heard from many of you in recent weeks via email asking what will be assessed in the program and what the nature of our latest research is. I have found your enthusiasm and relentless curiosity extremely endearing. However, in the interests of maintaining the integrity of the testing process, I cannot be forthcoming on these enquiries.

Despite this, I would like to affirm to you all that I am extremely optimistic about these upcoming evaluations and believe that they will yield recruits of the highest caliber.

Dharma Wants You is an online experience connected to the ABC TV show LOST.

The story follows a fictitious scientific community from LOST, The Dharma Initiative, as it attempts to recruit and assess volunteers for a secret research project.

By completing an 'Eligibility Test' and registering on dharmawantsyou.com audience members enroll as volunteer recruits for the Dharma Initiative.

Each week audience members will have the opportunity to complete a test that assesses their abilities in a particular skill.

Its sounding more and more like it is just going to be a series of personality tests.....quite disapointing really

Actually. I think this is finally the beginning.

Once you take the test and pass (I chose randomly and passed) you are sent to the registration page where you create a user ID, password, and can upload an avatar.

It looks like they are giving people about a month (till Aug. 19th) to get registered before they kick it off.

I already registered....oooh we shall see what happens tomorrow then!!

OK, after reading that last part...

It sounds like we will take a test each week up until August 19th. Maybe our answers will determine our job placement. Maybe I should have put more thought into my answers. Maybe I don't know what the hell I am talking about....

You had the right place KSJ, but it might have received more notice if you had created a new topic in this category.

Sometimes things get buried in other's posts and lazy readers (like me -great trait for a mod huh?) miss it.

Were you able to click on the link in the email KSJ? I wonder why I'm getting these emails after everyone else.

Sham, I actually did the test from two email addresses,so I just received one this morning .The only thing is I don't remember now is what user name I created for one of them. If I did???
The only reason I did two was they are so slow I wasn't sure if one was received. Yes, I was able to log on from the email.

I wondered when I posted it ,if I should have made it a new topic. I hope you don't think I was being a S.A. by reposting.

Now, this is bad, here I am quoting myself.I just logged on from both my hot mail and my main email,and my profile is the same on both, so I guess I am going to have two chances at joining as a new recruit!!

I mean....they owe us something,right...we have to wait for that long...again!! haha...

i hope season 4 releases soon here in the Netherlands on DVD...
anyway...we'll see tomorrow what dharmawantsyou will come up with...
