I also want to tell you that I really like the stuff you have written. I can see you have put a lot of work into it.

I've just read the first two episodes. Obscure choice of focus characters both times, I must say! However, this is clearly a labour of love and I'm not about to knock anybody's efforts in that respect.

If episode 5.6 isn't a Rousseau-centric one you need to seriously consider doing one!

Hey AC! Yeah, I would say it is obscure, but I think that "obscure" is a good way to define this season in a lot of ways. Don't worry, all your favorites will be back and I'm saving them for the big moments. Widmore for the first one was necessary, in my opinion. The second, maybe not so much, but they get more familiar.

A Rousseau episode you say? Well, I don't confirm that 5.6 has Rousseau or not, but you will hear about Rousseau sooner or later this season, I am sure of it.

Is Charlotte Ben's daughter though? That hasn't been clarified yet.... you, my friend are jumping to conclusions. The way I see it is that Jeanette and David aren't the parents... at least, that is what you are supposed to think from that episode. When Ben runs in there, David says, "That was a long time ago, Ben!" So... is Charlotte Ben's kid, we don't know yet.

I like your thought process though. If you really read the episode you have to ask yourself, why did Jeanette and David divorce/break up when Charlotte was only 2 years old? Did the truth of her father come out to David or did something else happen?

Ahh yes I see, I did indeed jump to conclusions! If I may jump to another conclusion, from your post I get the impression this will be clarified at some point....I look forward to reading it!
