Ben didnt get off the island manually - the island moved him off

i just came across something very strange when i thought about ben getting off the island. On the episode ' the shape of things to come ' ben appears in the sands of a foreign country, could be africa or syria ect. but we do know that charlotte found a dharma tag buried underneath the sand in her flash forward or back, im not quite sure yet. but somehow the island places the people that are no longer needed when you push a button or turn a failsafe key in 'The orchid'. This must be why jack asks kate where she was in the flashforward and she replies ' i was doing stuff for him ' - for sawyer, he might not be on the island and could have had the same affect as ben and the island removed him to a different place in the world. also u might know this by now but it just came across me - the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42 add to 108. sorry if you kno this lol just thought i would add. reply if u agree with my theory thanks.

Jack did say: He chose to stay. So that would mean he is still on the island? Maybe Sawyer asked kate a favor before she left the island.

Forget where but there are screen shots that show Bens arrival in the desert and the island have very similar horizions. This makes me belive that the island moved in time and space. I don`t think it simply ejects people it no longer needs that`s what smokeys for, maybe. as for the numbers yes most know by now they can be found everywhere and have many explanations.

Interesting theory, but when the island moves, do the DI stations move too? If so where is the Orchid when Ben awakes in Tunisia?

The DI stations are stuck on the island. Something special happens to the one who is using the wheel.

As the wheel is a measurement of last resort I dont see it being transported along with Ben.

Cant really explain it but I think in that room, where the wheel is, somethings special happens....

Its like the island gets moved with a certain force but so is the one in the chamber. And as they are using the same force maybe Ben is warped more into the future because it takes less energy to timetravel a person than an island....

I honestly just wrote this and though: Wow I really dont have a clue lol...

But then again when do we ever see someone moving an island on TV!

Josh Halloway and the writers, at some point, have said that Sawyer is still on the island. It seems as though whomever turns the frozen polar bear wheel gets ejected from the Island to never return again.

Everything else on the island, people and dharma stations, moved along with it. Not sure when or where, but I would guess that the island got shot 10 months into the future just like Ben. I think that the island moved physically from one vile vortex to another.

Hope it turns up in the middle of Australia, sure its a barren desert wildnerness but hey it's my home!
