LOST song parodies!

Post by SomeArztOnYou on Thu May 29, 2008 4:44 am

I know we've got enough creativity here for this. Weird Al style, but LOST themed. Here, I'll start it off...

Locke's Song
(Sung to the tune of Don McLean's "American Pie")

A long, long time ago
I can still remember
When my crazy mother showed up there
And I know if we'd never met
I would have my kidney yet
And never been confined to a wheelchair
But Dad was such a brilliant liar
I didn't want him to expire
I layed on the table
And gave what I was able
I know that it was kind of bad
To be stalking him outside his pad
But I just wanted to hang with Dad
Until he broke my legs

So fly high in the Pacific skies
If the plane goes down and hits the ground
I'll be able to rise
And have a close-up or two on my eyes
But the Island it just won't let me die
No, the Island it just won't let me die

If I picked the Book of Laws
Would I have gotten more applause
When that ageless Alpert came
And do you think that I crossed the line
When I threw that knife through Naomi's spine
And I hadn't even asked her for her name
Oh, I know that Ben's a creepy dude
And I don't always like his attitude
But if he can lead the way
Maybe I can save the day
I was a lonely middle-aged factory drone
Dating girls I met by telephone
I figured that I'd die alone
Because he broke my legs

So fly high in the Pacific skies
If the plane goes down and hits the ground
I'll be able to rise
And meet manipulating, devious guys
But the Island it just won't let me die
No, the Island it just won't let me die

I met a man who chopped a tree
And he gave some cryptic hints to me
Then he just smiled and chopped again
I woke up and realized
I'd have to find this Goodspeed guy
And passed along what I had learned to Ben
And in the grave the bodies reeked
Those former Dharma employees
They'd rotted in forest
But I found the map on Horace
So I sit beside my Cabin host
Is Claire alive or is she a ghost?
I guess I'd never get this close
Before he broke my legs

So fly high in the Pacific skies
If the plane goes down and hits the ground
I'll be able to rise
And wait for drops of Dharma Island supplies
'Cause the Island it just won't let me die
No, the Island it just won't let me die

So fly high in the Pacific skies
If the plane goes down and hits the ground
I'll be able to rise
And have a close-up or two on my eyes
But the Island it just won't let me die

(Yeah, I know the original had more verses, but I was running out of ideas - and anyway, we've got a couple more seasons to go.)

A song about Charlie, or a parody of "You All Everybody?"

Arzt a parody of YAE would be great but a song about Charlie would be better. Both would be even better but thats just my greedy side coming out.

I'll try to think of something - YAE doesn't have enough lyrics to it to make for a good parody, though, I think.

By request...

Not Penny's Boat
(Sung to the tune of Oasis' "Wonderwall")

Today is gonna be the day
That Desmond said I'm gonna die
By now I think I've somehow
Realized that it's not a lie
I don't believe that anybody
Knows the way to stop that signal now

He's right, the blinking yellow light
Is just where that crazy seer said
I'm sure I'd heard it all before
But I figured that he bumped his head
I don't believe that anybody
Knows the way to stop that signal now

And all the things he said would happen happened
He saved me when the lightning bolts were clapping
There are several things I'd like
To add to my greatest hits
But it's too late now

Because maybe
I'm gonna save Claire and the baby
Just now I wrote
"It's not Penny's boat!"

Today was gonna be the day
But they've got me tied to a chair
By now I should have somehow
Figured out how to get in there
I don't believe that anybody
Knows the way to stop that signal now

And when I got down to the Dharma station
And figured out how to play "Good Vibrations"
One important thing that I
Have got to say to Des
Gotta tell him now

I said maybe
I'm gonna save Claire and the baby
Just now I wrote
"It's not Penny's boat!"

I said maybe
I'm gonna save Claire and the baby
Just now I wrote
"It's not Penny's boat!"

Who's in the Coffin?
(sung to the tune of 'Don't Fear the Reaper' by Blue Oyster Cult)

::clears throat::
::adds more cowbell::

Oooooooooo the time has come
Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeason four is done
We wonder who's in the coffin
Is it Jin, Juliette or Sayyyyyyid?
We can theorize all we like...
Come on Abrams...
Who's in the coffin?
Is it a girl or a guy?
Who's in the coffin?
We've waited two seasons now...
Who's in the coffin?
Why did they diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie?

DHARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MA MA MAAAAAA MA
DHARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MA MA MAAAAAA MA

::more cowbell::

Linus' purge is done
Here but now they're gone
Boone, Shannon and Eko
Are together in eternity...
Boone, Shannon and Eko

Over 40 DHARMA workers everyday... Like
Boone, Shannon and Eko
Over 40 DHARMA workers everyday...redefine purge for us
Another 40 DHARMA workers everday...so tell who's in there?

Come on Carlton... Who's in the coffin?
I know its not Jack... Who's in the coffin?
But I think its a guy... Who's in the coffin?
Lindelof pick up the slack...

DHARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MA MA MAAAAAA MA
DHARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR MA MA MAAAAAA MA

::even more cowbell::
::annoyingly long guitar solo::

I know the song is much longer than this, but this is all I have so far.

Okay here's another one, but if you haven't seen the finale yet, some things in this one are SPOILERS...

Lapidus' Song:
(Sung to the tune of The Beatles' "A Day in the Life")

I saw the news today, oh boy
Three hundred bodies in the Sunda Trench
And though the picture wasn't clear
I did a double ta-ake
This wreck must be a fa-ake

I know that pilot can't be Seth
He won't leave home without his wedding band
This doesn't make much sense to me
I've not seen his face before
Who is this impersonating Norris on the ocean floor

I got a job today, oh boy
Flying a copter for the freighter crew
And though these guys are rather gruff
Well, I just can't refrain
Got to find that plane

Oceanic 8----1----5...

Handcuffed by Keamy's men
As they went to look for Ben
The device I dropped was found by Jack
And Sawyer grabbed the toolkit from the back

Keamy came to spoil the fun
We were outnumbered two to one
But then the Others came and saved the day
And Ben told Jack he's free to fly away

Ahhh......

Ran out of fuel today, oh boy
Crash landed with the six and Desmond too
They knew they had to tell a lie
Said all the others died
Now they'll never know what really happened when the plane went down

Oceanic 8----1----5...

Okay, Stickman, I know this will be your new favorite. Not only is it about Charlie, but I think you may know the original song fairly well, too...

Paranoid Junkie Boy
(Sung to the tune of Radiohead's "Paranoid Android")

Please could you stop the whispers out there in the trees
And bring that unborn baby's mother back to me
Where's Claire...? (I may be paranoid, but no junkie boy)
Where's Claire...? (I may be paranoid, but no junkie boy)

When I find Ethan he'll be shot right in the chest
'Cause Hurley told me that he was not on the manifest
Where's Claire...? (I may be paranoid, but no junkie boy)
Where's Claire...? (I may be paranoid, but no junkie boy)

Withdrawal makes you steal lots of babies
I didn't wanna but the Island kinda made me
(Claire...Claire...)
You don't remember, you don't remember
Why don't you remember the plane?
Out of your head, Claire
Out of your head, Claire
Why don't remember the plane?
Must be the drugs...

Calm down, calm down
I won't hurt the baby
I am not high
I am not high... high...
Calm down, calm down
Aaron's safe with me
He'll be all right
He'll be all right... right...

No, Charlie
You're leaving
The baggies of heroin
The walking while dreaming
The baby kidnapping and
The ranting, the raving
The misguided saving
Mom guards her children
Mom guards her children, yeah...

I think I just made a certain Lostie's day.

"Should I Stay or Should I Go?" (by The Clash)

Post by Achara on Sat Jun 07, 2008 12:06 am

Awhile back, I was in a goofy-creative mood, so I made up some alternate verses...

well, you'll see...

Damon, you got to let me know...
"Should Jack stay or should he go?
Jack said, "THAT decisions mine!!
He thinks he's right all of the time!
So you got to let me know
Should Jack stay or should he go?

Jack wants to leave leave leave.
Unlike Locke... "Mr. Clean"...
Fast Forward to the Future Jack...
He says to Kate, "We have to go Baaack!"
Well come on, Cuse, let me know
Should Jack stay or should he go?
Should Jack stay or should he go now?
I think he'll leave & want to come back
If Jack goes, there will be trouble
If he's a clone, he has a double!
So come on, Cuse, let me know...

This blasted show is bugging me!
Damon & Carlton, set me free!!
Exactly who's *Jacob* supposed to be?
*Missing pieces* don't even fit, see?
Come on, Cuse, let me know
Should Jack stay or should he go?

Who will stay & who will go now?
Who will leave & want to come back?
If Jack goes, there will be trouble
So he's a clone? He has a double?
So J.J. Abrams, let me know...
Should they stay or should they go?

Who will stay & who will go now?
Who will leave & want to come back?
If Jack goes, there will be trouble
Parallel worlds? Earth has a double?
So Lindeloff, let me know....
Should they stay or should they go?
******
Other optional *verses*...
Damon, you gotta let me know
Who will stay & who will go?
You can say that Sawyer's fine...
Heh, I bet he hears that all the time!
So you got to let me know
Who will stay & who will go?

It's always "Dude, Dude, please?"...
Man, he was stoked to find those 'keys'
When they we're *all* under attack...
Well, he drove over some guy's back...
So I have to let you know...
Who saved the day? It's our Hugo!

To the Island Again:
(Sung to the tune of Steely Dan's "Do It Again")

In the chopper you start loading
To be rescued from the Island
But the freighter starts exploding
And you've got to keep on flying
And that Sun her screams are many
'Cause you let her husband die
But you're rescued then by Penny
And you all decide to lie

You've got to go back, Jack, to the Island again
Turn that frozen wheel around
Just go back, Jack, to the Island again

Well you think it's all behind you
Then you find out Claire's your sister
And your dad comes to remind you
That your work is not done, Mister
Then you ask your Kate to marry
And to be your special lady
But you get all sauced and hairy
When she starts to act all shady

You've got to go back, Jack, to the Island again
Turn that frozen wheel around
Just go back, Jack, to the Island again

Now you swore that you were happy
When you finally got rescued
But that Hurley's life's been crappy
Says it wasn't for the best, dude
So you fly so many jets there
Hoping you can crash again
And you know that you can get there
But the only question's when

You've got to go back, Jack, to the Island again
Turn that frozen wheel around
Just go back, Jack, to the Island again
