More on toes!
Just wanted to expand on GaryOC's 4-toed statue theory found here:
https://losties.darkbb.com/no-spoiler-for-uk-theories-f9/the-four-toed-statue-t555.htm#6952
This is the South Korean flag. Note that the black bars look an awful lot like our beloved DHARMA logos.
In Korean folklore, the dragon has four toes.
From Wikipedia:
'Very occasionally a dragon may be depicted as carrying a dragon orb known as the Yu-Yei-Joo (여의주) in one or more of its claws. Modeled after the mythical Cintamani
jewel(or, a treasure orb), it was said that whoever could wield the
Yu-Yi-Joo was blessed with the abilities of omnipotence and creation at
will, and that only four-toed dragons (those which had thumbs to hold
the orbs) were both wise and powerful enough to wield these orbs (as
opposed to the lesser, three-toed dragons).'
Perhaps the four-toed statue represents a perfect and omnipotent being?
::shrugs::
Maybe that what the DHARMA were really up to...creating the perfect being.
One who would live long, heal quick, be enormously intelligent and physically agile.
No need for a fifth toe when your balance has nary a flaw.
Than again, the writers could simply have a healthy foot fettish.

Re: More on toes!
I like the way you said
that means either you or CF are not ashamed of it!
good for you! Did this all start when he swept you off your feet!
which reminds me of that joke:
What's the best way to stop a LT-Troll from drowning?
Take solar's foot off his head

He did indeed sweep me off my feet, but the fettish thing...that was a joke!

Believe it or not, I came to this post having seen the title purely with the intent of making that exact same joke.
Either Arzt is becoming more like me, or I'm becoming more like him. Or we're fusing. Like Jeff Goldblum and a fly.

I'm not sure whether I'd rather be Goldblum or the fly. Tough one there.

Re: More on toes!
AC, i wouldn't say Jeff Goldblum and a fly, i'd say more like Alan Partridge and Dan! Do you both drive Lexus' and use Lynx Africa????
Apologies to the Americans who probably won't have a clue what i'm referring to!

I wish I drove a Lexus. But I do have Lynx Africa on today. Lynx Africa Dry, to be precise.

Re: More on toes!
GaryOC you are 100% correct...I have no idea what you are talking about.
Not, however, an unusual condition for me I'm afraid.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!
My theory titles are useless, much like Jack Shephard.
And it seems my picture of the S. Korean flag disappeared!
Must fix that.
