How to post a picture

The ability to make a image of your computer screen is the first step. And this is the easiest part.

First when you have on your monitor the information you want to capture just press the "Print Screen" button



Now go into your Paint program. This is found in the All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint from the Start Button.



In the Paint program you can select paste from the Edit menu. This will paste the entire sreen cap on the program. You can use the selection tool to select a portion of the image and then from image you can select the crop option to get rid of the unwanted part of the image.



Once this is done you can select save and save the image in a locatable directory, or the easiest is to save it to the desktop.


Part Two

You now need somewhere on the internet to store your images, there are many free sites that will host your photoes for you. You can do a search on google OR you can sign up at the site I use

Once your account is set up, then you can upload your pictures there and then get the image URL's and copy and paste the address into your post



or use the image tools just above the reply box
