AGAIN WITH THE EYE

This is a small theory im gonna do my best on the writing ok.
Here it goes…



I remember before the season 3 finale there was a special program narrated by the producer damon lindelof and carlton cuse, and it was call the answer, they do a recap of all three season but when carlton mention the pilot episode he said something about the great job that some editing guy made with jacks eyes at that moment booth carlton and damon look at each other and smile that was weird and it bother me why I dont know, before the season 4 began my girlfriend and I started to watch from season 1 first time for her, and in the pilot when jack opens his eye I paused it and zoom it and in the eye was a strange shape off a face in his pupil we try to figure out hos face is it but no luck so far, anyway at comic-con when they are gonna give the jack Shepard doll to a fan damon say ¨look at the striking eyes and the intense that he has just been in a plane crash look ¨ again the producers with the eyes. So I started to look for the eye and this is what I discover





here is where he first open his eye (noticed the iregular shape of his pupil)
and the little green x on the bottom of his pupil
maybe its bambu but why only that part of his eye is white


next mug shot,
notice the pupil with a more rare shape non circular




ok in this one the pupil is more dilated but with the same shape





my gues about this is that jack is the black smoke monster for a brief moment (remember taller ghost walt? and yemi?) the black smoke monster can materialise in anything he wants, i remember a episode when skate is looking for jack and he just apears from the trees and skate ask him where you been and he answer just begin you. (something like that), at that moment jacob put the real jack on the trees,

so i think that the clue that the producer say that we all mised in the pilot is the eye and the black smoke monster.

Bravo Nino! Nice catch indeed! I am not the best person, when it comes to optical illusions, however I believe I see the reflection of 'people' in Jack's eyes.

I am not sure if this is accurate, just my take! If this is the case, who 'were' they? I magnified the images, and they do look like people, but can't say I recognize anyone in particular.

You could be very right, about the "Smoke Monster" being responsible for this. It will be interesting to see what somebody who is much better at this, than I am has to say.

Maybe I'm not looking at this correctly, but all I see in his eye is the reflection of the canopy above him.
Well that and I thought that Darlton already stated that there is no ultimate answer in the pilot episode. It was an urban myth.

Still, I'd like to believe that when LOST ends, I will be able to go back and watch the pilot and say, "DOH!" ... the answer was there the whole time.

Hey nino, if I have read and understood you correctly, you are referring to the producers specifically calling attention to an 'editing job' and NOT the so-called "clue" in the pilot episode.

It certainly doesn't detract from the pick-up. For all we know, Jack's life could have flashed before his eyes, after that plane crashed! I'm confidant the cameras were definitley going for "a specific effect" by placing emphasis on it, though.

Send in the optical illusion experts!!

Nice job, Nino! Great pics and I will tell you that what I see in the third picture of the eye is a man. Yes, I know that's different from what the others have seen, but you know me. I see things some people just don't.

I agree with dab, but could be anything (when she said that she saw "people" I kept looking at the pupil for the word people).

I think there was a problem, basically, with the opening shot in that it did reflect a member of the crew. For the opening shot it obviously bugged them - so I think they then spent some time and money trying to 'black' it out. . . and looks like they wound up messing up Jack's pupil into a weird shape in the process.

Hence the producers' grievance with the Jack's eye opening!

(That's not 100% fact, by the way - I wouldn't want to trick people into thinking it was.)

Good find! I don't know how you guys all find the time to pick up on these facts. But one thing that I thought of when I was reading this was. At the end of season one of heroes when Sylar (the bad guy) 'died' flashes of everyone he had ever killed were in his eye. Finishing with his own 'death'.

Does that mean anything to anyone?

That makes sense. The editing job may have something to do with seeing a refection in his eye on such a tight zoom shot. Like maybe if the camera was right up in his face, there might have been a refection that had to be airbrushed out.

But then again.... If i look hard enough, it almost looks like someone holding a baby.

Nino, I suppose it could mean something, as it is Lost. But, the more I look at the second two pictures, the more I can see. In the second picture, I can clearly see a man at the top of the eye, (don't laugh now) a dog in the pupil and another man at the bottom of the eye.

In the third picture, I can still see a man at the top and Lateralus, it does look like the man at the bottom is holding a baby!!

I think it's all a matter of perspective and AC is probably right!
