Maybe he asked her to do one of his long-cons for him, for old times sake! A briefcase full of money that accidentally opens and Kate says "Ooops, you weren't meant to see that"!

The last and only time Sawyer hears about his daughter, hes told she is in New Mexico. I don't understand why he would say Alabama.

The point I made with this post was that this is what Sawyer said.
It wasn't in the script though and JH obviously improvd.Hence the Alabama glitch.

Okay, here is another youtube video, that has a slightly different version on what is said by Sawyer to Kate, by - RVideoH3F. This person says ,that it may not even be exactly right.

Thanks for linking that vid KSJ, I didn't really want to have to upload a clip to youtube.
We could be seeing something similar to the newspaper clipping obit from last season but that was something only online fans knew about.This is actual dialogue in the show so the producers either allowed it or JH is in a bit of trouble.

Update on the Sawyer whisper thingy. An italian girl on another forum said the finale aired there last night and the whisper part was translated .She said you couldn't hear the full sentence but 'daughter' was quite clearly heard said in Italian. Just thought that was interesting. flower
