I'm thinking of buying Wiifit is it worth it?
My boyfriend and I really really enjoy it.
When you first "sign up" you pick your Mii, then it weighs you, does a BMI test, and helps you set a goal for yourself. The board is incredibly sensitive, so it really knows every wobble you're doing. It also measures your posture! It's really awesome.
The games are really fun too, and, you can actually FEEL the workout! The hoola-hoop one works your abs really well. There are also a bunch of stretching yoga moves to improve posture and balance, a section for crunches, pushups, etc, an aerobic section where you can "run" lol (run in place while holding the remote while watching a beautiful scenery go by lol, also 2 people can run at once for this option) and the last section has really fun balance games which works your whole body, really.
It was worth it to us. I've lost 2 lbs so far (ours arrived the day after it came out) and I don't do it religiously or anything. Time goes by quick while you workout, so it's fun
I know the price is a bit steep, but I recommend it! As well as Mario Kart Wii (lol...)

I really want to try that Jac! We had a wii for about a month and I really enjoyed the wii sports, tennis and golf mainly. But this wii-fit thing looks ace and I really want to get a wii again to get fit, could do with losing about 10lb and toning up a little but im too shy for the gym - honest

Yeah pong i can hang with. My first video game experience was Duck Shot on NES. I've played some of older stuff though - galaga, centipede and the like.

Re: Fave Games then!
Oh no, I was just being me. I actually have a Wii, and play Guitar Hero III a decent amount. I'm just really not a video gamer. I had my Atari as a kid, then never really played beyond that until I got the Wii last Fall.puchita wrote:ohhhh didnt mean to offend the pong era.

haha, yeah I'm not a fan of working out in front of a bunch of strangers either. It's really simple to just press the power button on the board, do some workouts, hop in the shower, then head to work
