I find that it is interesting that we find in the Torah Jacob's Father was Isaac and Jacob's favourite son was Benjamin. Aaron is the older brother of Moses.
We have seen Isaac (of Uluru), so does he have a connection to Jacob?
Is Ben one of Jacob's favourites?

AC, I think that the Lost writers use names, not because they are telling a religious story, but that the names have some meaning and signifigance in themselves.
I agree that we can look for parallels to help us better understand some attributes of the characters!
