So I was thinking, with all the ways that the writers have parralled the show with real life, how far has everyone dove into it all? Has anyone read all the books with in the show? Looked up everyones name and compaired them in real life to the show. ie: I remember a great LT post with the Harvard professer Richard Albert and that amazing book Here Now. How far have you gone???

All that, then some!

I have an apollo bar, I have walt's comic (english translation), I bought several books from the show, the last one was 'the third policeman', I have anagrammed the whole shebang, I have a Dharma mug, a Dharma clock (check the post 'x amount of days left for AC's birthday present'), an oceanic keyfob, every issue of LOST official magazine, the tin-box game of LOST, and.....

I think I'll stop there but it's bad! I didn't buy any of the Toy-figures they made though, as I do occasionally bring a female home for a bit of Hows-your-Father, and looking at Sawyer will only put me off!

Actually I bet I'm not the worst obcessed Number-1 LOST nut on this site, but I am probably up there somewhere!

oh yeah, and that ram dass be here now post and book were very enlightening.

All right, as to how deep I've gone, well, let me illustrate:

We've got these drinking glasses:

I noted their octagonal shape, and decided I had to take advantage:

I made stickers for the bottoms of them. They are now washed very carefully...

Sorry, but i have to go to Bed Bath and Beyond now to get some 8-sided tumblers.

I did spend the time at work to scratch off "enter"of the enter key, and meticulously, with some red Testors paint and a white Sharpie, inscribe "Execute".

Let's see I bought the book Bad Twin by Gary Troup. To be honest I have never been able to get past the first two chapters! But one day I am sure I will push myself to get into it.

I have bought all the Lost magazines starting with the 6th issue, I do enjoy reading them!

I have the DVD boxed sets for S1 and S2. I have most of S3 and all of S4 on burnt DVD's. I have enjoyed the show, the discussions it generates and the interesting characters that it has had. Though to be honest I think that S4, with the exception of the Des and Penny storyline, probably has been one that really failed to generate a great deal of interest from me.

Maybe if the writer's strike had not happened, it might have been a better series. The flashforwards realy left me cold, the faces were the same but their characters had become distant, their motivation for what they were doing unknown and characters that during the first three seasons we had grown to know and like became in S4, strangers to us.

I still like the show but not as much as at the start of the season. So does that mean i am now going back up the rabbit hole?

I EKO those sentiments!

you must not give in Stitch.

Sometimes I miss the claustrophobia days of season2 in the Swan station, the countdown sound, that 'new-to Dharma' feel we all had, the creepy feeling you got when the Dharma music started playing....but the show must go on as they say!

Someartzey, could I trust you to not get sloshed on one glass though? One glass and you're trying to send me off round the world on your secret yacht, meeting me in toilets, and then giving me your daughter's address!

OK, well everything we have is Molly and I... and i really should let her post this, since she's a bit more into the show than I. She convinced me to come to L-T, and then over here. I had always been against the show beyond the hour on television, but alas... she has converted me.

OK, we have Seasons 1, 2, and 3 box sets.
Two 16 oz Dharma coffee mugs (after our 12 oz mug broke.
Swan Station mousepad.
I had made a couple custom desktop wallpapers for her, before the Oceanic ones were officially released.
Two Dharma uniform patches.
One Dharma parking pass.
Three Apollo Bars.

I think that's it. Molly? Did I miss anything?

I am rather bereft of Lost paraphernalia.

I do have the DVDs. And I have all three season Michael Giacchino soundtracks (reasonably hardcore, I feel).

And Lojozz and his brother made me a t-shirt with 'the numbers' on the front (in the green-on-black style of the Swan Station computer) and 'Don't tell me what I can't do' on the back.

My fiancee refuses to allow me to wear it in public. But I have worn it when LJ, myself and a couple of others hole up for a whole weekend with snacks and beer and smokes and watch an entire Season of the show back-to-back. That's fairly hardcore too, I think.

WTF, so what's it like to feel almost normal...I'd love to try that someday affraid

Let's see...
Like AC, just about all I have are the dvd's
BUT,
I have created and printed up a whole series of Dharma Initiative lables for everything from canned soups to cigarettes. About 30 lables in all which I then used to relable all of the food in my kitchen's pantry...needless to say, my wife Starbuck was less than amused.

I'm also working on a complete and detailed set of blueprints for the Swan Station.
https://2img.net/h/i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm156/starbuck63/lost%20avatars/LOSTHATCH.jpg

https://2img.net/h/i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm156/starbuck63/lost%20avatars/LOSTHATCHLOWER.jpg

But I do wear a set of the hexagonal Battlestar Galactica dogtags

And I own a 1974 MGB roadster, (note new avatar) the badges for which are in the shape of...an octagon. http://www.geocities.com/mgmadness/mg_images/mgbadge.gif

So I guess that mkes the MGB the offical hippie sports car of the Dharma Initiative.
