Happy New Year 2021 Empty Happy New Year 2021

Hi Everyone

2021 has started and already the winds of change are blowing.

2020 was a year where all the greatest technological achievements that we had made over the last hundred years were made humble by the brutal pandemic that attacked the entire planet. Despite a planet wide effort the virus spread with unthinkable speed and tragically millions of deaths.

Lockdowns saw many businesses and hard working people left with no viable means of income. And the health workers and other front line workers were worked to exhaustion facing risks to their own health and that of their own families and households.

2021 meant isolation for most and although social media provided some method for people to connect, we were all painfully aware that they work best as a supplemental method but makes a poor substitute for real life interactions.

Hobbies were rediscovered for some and for others the trauma of the year left people tackling mental health issues.

The winds of change are coming in the form of vaccines that provide some hope that we may start winning the battle against Covid-19. In the next year we can pray that the rollout of vaccines will enable the planet to begin the process of healing and returning to the next new normal. Let us hope that we see less mutations of the virus while we have a window of opportunity to combat it.

I hope that you all will have a year full of hope this year and that this time next year will see a world reborn.

Lots of love
