In my house our favorite shows are
Lost, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Battle Star Galactica, Heros, The Sarah Jane Adventures and My Names is Earl.
(for those in the UK I know it might seem odd but we like BBC shows)

And lastly to round out my Ultra Sheek Geek TV I watch NASCAR on the weekends.

Yes I know a sci-fi geek who loves NASCAR but at least it is and uncommon mix of intrest. (go number 9!)

Alaina, my husband says I am a freak because I can't stand sci-fi, yet I love Lost. I am a nerdy English-major type, and my main drive in any book/tv/movie entertainment is character-study. Lost is definitely BIG on that!

So_Lost, the focus on character development is one of the things that makes Lost so great. A lot of shows and exspecially movies these days do not give you any reason to care about the caracters, to become emotionally engaged in there story.

Jack dated Walt's mom.... on Party of Five! So if I can't get my lost fix, I keep it close to home. I've been watching Alias and Party of Five online. It's been fun seeing how many different characters have been on Alias.. Locke and Edgar Halliwax to name a few.

Ok I also love Top Chef and Jac has nothing to be ashamed of the cartoon network adult swim rocks! But I`m posting in response to all the Colts fans. Please refrain from throwing things.... I love the Patriots, Celtics and Redsox.

Ohhhhh the patriots.... i will not throw things but just shake my head in shame.

its ok i'm a cowboys fan, and everyone seems to hate them too.

I actually really admire redsox fans, no other bunch besides the cowboys and the sox have riots after championship games. (cowboys- '92 parade, sox - last championship)

Although, I'm waiting for both of them to just die already. If only I knew who the final Cylon was, I'd just stop watching BSG. Atlantis is just getting worse and worse.

NHL Hockey, Family Guy, Jeopardy!, CSI, original Star Trek (usually on DVD), various History and Discovery Channel programs randomly, House on rare occasion, and the one show I watch more obsessively than Lost... Real Time with Bill Maher.

Trailer Park Boys, Father Ted, Ideal, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Dexter, Life on Mars, The Office, Extras, The IT Crowd, Still Game, Family Guy, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Vic and Bob in anything, The Detectives, Strutter, Fur TV and South Park.

Other TV? House. If Occamette grants us the right to use her TV, of course. Most of the time, we don't have a TV, but a DVD player screen.

I’ve just finished season one and started on season two last night. OMG that is f’ng HIIIIIIiiiiiii-larious!!
My wife doesn’t like it so much. Big surprise. I only really get a chance to watch “my shows” in that half hour I’m home before her, those two days of the week. Mostly it’s old copies of The Office or last nights The Daily Show.

Alton Brown (cooking show), Ugly Betty, loved Absolutely Fabulous and Seinfeld when they were on, news/weather, once in a while a movie rented from Netflix. I do more reading and computer things than watching tv.
