just a hunch..hes an outside contender at the mo and christian did say he works for jacob...and hes kinda dead and psychics can contact the dead....

I think is possible Richard Malkin is in contact with Ben/or even Jacob himself but I don't think they are the person. (not sure if Jacob is even a person for that matter!)

Jacob is just like The Island, he is neither a person, nor a ghost. Jacob is the name for an entity which has control over some things, but doesn't have a material being.

On Malkin, not sure he wasn't bribed to mess with Claire, he tells Eko he was bribed and it does seem that certain people were maneuvered onto the plane.
