The Scientific Validity of the Frozen Donkey Wheel
I found this article that talks about how Einstein would consider the wheel's time and space moving ability as plausible:

Don't worry. I HATE science and I read this article without contemplating suicide.

COOL!!! Great Find. I love physics and glad to see there is some validity to Lost.

Re: The Scientific Validity of the Frozen Donkey Wheel
Thanks! The thing I like most about lost is how the writers attempt to ground the show in reality. They are not going to have a wizard pop up and wave a wand. If there are "ghosts"...they will be explained in some pseudo-scientific way. Even if the island turns out to be Atlantis or the Garden of Eden, it wouldn't be so crazy because there is real world literature of both of these places. It's great how the writers use the outskirts of science and combine it with mythology to make the most plausible "sci-fi" content possible.
I was really upset when people would deny time travel on the show because worm holes are within the realm of real science. It isn't on par with an invisible dinosaur who can speak English. I mean especially with the mention of the Casimir Effect in the Orchid video. At that point I was just livid that people were still denying time travel on the show because it was so blatantly obvious after just googling "casimir effect."

There was something on here similar to that article. I think was by Angelo Commet, who suggested that you move the door to the island not the actual island. But this backs it up with some science as well.
Good find Raven.

I posted a theory on lost-theories.com, just before the site went down for awhile, based in part, on that article.
