But, I am not a nerd in the general sense of the word. My husband, family, and best friends would say I can be a nerd, but the public does not see me that way. I am a closet nerd I guess. Ohh...and for the record...me no likey Star Wars.

I meant we are all nerds like you are... we aren't fully outright nerds, but we do have some nerd qualities. At the very least it is rather nerdy how obsessed we all are of Lost.

Sawyer's hot, but those brains of Faraday are much sexier.

Smokette, I wish there were some girls with that same outlook in Aus. I am afraid brawn wins downunder over brains all the time.

That said I find going to the gym far more hard work than studying. There is a gym, swimming pool and tennis courts in my complex. However, I seldom use them, my friends do, so they do get some use. maybe I should use them more often.

Sami...being honest, I am the least into lost of all of us. Hanging my head in shame, but it is true. The truth is that I just like the show & have a lot of interest in it. I got interested in it when I was pregnant & I am no expert, and have few thoughts on theories. I am a former PR girl with 3 kids and was a kappa and cheerleader at SMU. When I say I am not a nerd, it is the truth, but I wish I was, because I like you all better than most of my old friends.

Well, Blonde, I was the Homecoming King of my hs and in college I was considered one of the biggest party guys at my school (I had parties like every weekend (which was thursday-monday morning) and was the king of being social) etc. etc. and after college I worked in PR as well and I was in the department who dealt with the nyc nightlife and club promotion which made me attend many high status cocktail functions at the hottest night clubs with celebrities (which i always seemed to somehow miss for the most part and it pisses me off)... then I went into reality tv casting and now I am going to be quitting that and going back to grad school.

Even through all of that socializing and drinking and putting on the appearance of a "cool and popular" party guy I would read science publications, obsess about Lost, manage to maintain a 3.5 gpa, participate in the Model UN (yes, that is the height of nerd) and be the president of the French Club.

Most of my friends didn't know about the Model UN or French Club, lol... which goes to show you never know who is really a nerd and who isn't. I must say, I am proud to be a nerd.... but I do know the limits and draw the line. You will never see me attend a sci-fi convention dressed as a character of anything. (not that there is anything wrong with that, but that is ultra nerd.. which is ok too, but not me.)

yeah..JW...I respect all that, but the deal is...I didn't. I floated through SMU with a 2.3, never was involved in "smart clubs", and had little aspirations. Pre-wed. LOL. Thanks for the credit, but keeping it real, I am really not smart and not a nerd and not a success story. If someone ever called me smart I would cry!!!! I try, but it never works out.

Blonde, all I have to say is "Bitch Please..." Just because you didn't excel in college, which is a total joke anyway, doesn't mean you aren't smart. I don't mean to brag, but I am naturally 'smart'... I didn't really need to study or anything. I just pick up on things.

As for aspirations and success story, you are pretty happy with your life and you are doing well for yourself, aren't you? I made my point, case closed... (and believe me, this wasn't meant to boost your ego or anything... I just hate when people say they "aren't smart" because it depends what you define "smart" as). I may be smart, but I made plenty of stupid decisions in my life that the average "not smart" person wouldn't have made.

Hahaha, oh KSJ, I was actually on here pretty late last night. My sleeping pattern is getting all screwed up lately. I haven't been getting much sleep at all. I've began writing 5.10 and it is taking a lot out of me mentally. I keep re-writing and changing things trying to figure out how I want certain characters to develop. It is starting to look good though.
