Whispers

So we heard them again right before Richard Albert and the others from otherton reenter. It`s been long belived to be the voice of one man and one women (according to lostipdea). The women being more sympathetic with are players. I guess I wondering if anyone has any thoughts on who these two may be and obviously what there motives are. Can`t remember the episode but the strange women who talks to Desmond in what looked like Time Square, I`m thinking she`s one. Well you can see why I didn`t put this in therorys, just wanted to get some feedback on the whispers. Thank you and shwswawerjackshwshrunshwnotshwwhsbabyshshhh.

I am reasonably sure the voices are more than just two people.

We have heard the voice of Frank Duckett whisper to Sawyer. "It'll come back around."

We've also heard whispers in German, and the voice of someone who sounded like Boone. "Hi Sis".

And there's all other kinds of voices involved too. . . Could you post the link to the spot that suggests they are just two people?

No i belive you`re right AC I was looking at the translations on darkufo and lostpidea and it says man says... women says... but they could deffinatly be more than one man one women. I still think though that its that cosmic lady and perhaps Christian.

Vince - by cosmic lady I assume you mean Ms. Hawking? I see where you're coming from; that she seems to exist outside of ther regular world and so views what's going on and, ah, whispers about it. . .

They do confuse me, the whispers. The Others seem to be able to summon them at will, as a distractive tool. And yet their actual voices are like a theatrical chorus, commenting and even squabbling about the events unfurling before them, and then other whispers are just 'recorded' voices from the past.

I wonder if it has anything to do with when Cindy told Jack "We're here to watch". I always found that such an odd statement that has never been explained.

The whispers do indeed seem like observers, commenting on events as AC says.....so maybe they are connected?
