Just noticed, those we know have claimed the island as their own seem to fit nicely into "Jacob".

The island is now John's (apparently)
Could it be Aarons in the future?
Was Charles' (Christian?)
O ?
Was Ben's

Maybe Jacob is a layered soul and consciousness of the above 'owners', past present and future
