• I found about Van Eeghen International by googling and findind a lint to Vah Eeghen & Time Machine --I know it's a coincidence, but hey, I'm a Lostaholic
  

• Van Eeghen International deals with food, communications and precious metals. Investigation seems to be of some importance for the company. Maybe it's just me, but the whole thing smells like Dharma...
  
• The company was set up in 1632 by some Christiaen Van Eeghen, and in 1662 his son Jacob established in Amsterdam. Christiaen? Jacob? Hm...
  
• There's no historical follow-up of the company from 1662 to the XIXth century. What, they could pinpoint the company's foundation year, but they couldn't say anything about it for over 200 years? Well, except that they became involved in the navigation and banking sectors.
