Octagon Global Recruiting, on behalf of the Dharma Initiative, would like to thank you for registering your expression of interest in our latest volunteer recruitment drive.
We will be launching in San Diego on July 24th at Comic-Con International offering select registrants the opportunity to take an exciting aptitude test that will give applicants the chance to demonstrate their unique talents.
The Dharma Initiative hopes you will be able to join us to find out more about their ground-breaking new research project. We will contact you closer to the date with more information.
For those not able to join us in San Diego, Dharma's full recruitment program will be made available online to registered recruits after July 27th.
In the meantime, the Dharma Initiative urges you to spread the word. Invite your colleagues to join the team at www.octagonglobalrecruiting.com and take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity.

I did, too. But I'm afraid I'll have to wait for "Dharma's full recruitment program will be made available online to registered recruits after July 27th..."

Re: OCTAGON GLOBAL RECRUITMENT!!!!
there is a name..Hans Van Eeghen...anyone think it may be an anagram? I am no good at them, I tried the site for anagrams but didn't see anything that fit (IMO). Also, it doesn't give names, so I just thought that I would put that out there for the more gifted minds!

I googled it and found >>this blog<<... which, in turn, points to >>this web page<<. What do you make of it? Canon, fan-made, coincidence...?
ADDENDUM #01: Look >>here<< for a "March has 32 days" LOST connection...
ADDENDUM #02: There seems to be a "Van Eeghen International b.v" company based in The Netherlands. I still can't tell it it's fake or real --it certainly smells like real-- but there are several things on that page that rang some bells:
- I found about Van Eeghen International by googling and findind a lint to Vah Eeghen & Time Machine --I know it's a coincidence, but hey, I'm a Lostaholic
- Van Eeghen International deals with food, communications and precious metals. Investigation seems to be of some importance for the company. Maybe it's just me, but the whole thing smells like Dharma...
- The company was set up in 1632 by some Christiaen Van Eeghen, and in 1662 his son Jacob established in Amsterdam. Christiaen? Jacob? Hm...
- There's no historical follow-up of the company from 1662 to the XIXth century. What, they could pinpoint the company's foundation year, but they couldn't say anything about it for over 200 years? Well, except that they became involved in the navigation and banking sectors.

Re: OCTAGON GLOBAL RECRUITMENT!!!!
March has 32 days......well the 32nd day of march would be the 1st April...april fools day...is there a connection there I wonder?
or it could be 332. Or even 03.32 - but doesn't the US do it the other way round so it would be 32.3.
Connected to 3.2 million perhaps?
Just brainstorming

Re: OCTAGON GLOBAL RECRUITMENT!!!!
I don't think the actual numbers have to make sense; anyway it's a clear hint to time differences between the Island and the rest of the world.
I didn't notice it at the time, but it seems issue #40 of "Mistery Tales" appeared on Locke's flashback with Mr. Alpert...

Re: OCTAGON GLOBAL RECRUITMENT!!!!
It was one of Alperts items, and i think the knife John picked up was laying on top of it.
Feb. 29 in a leap year would be March 1 in any other year. So if you ignore the leap year rule, March could have 32 days. A day that should be there, but isn't on the calender.
(ok, that sounds crazy now that i read it)
