Maybe it's all red smoke...

Really sorry guys, this isn’t a theory rather an observation…

In “the economist” Locke is leading his crew to Jacob’s cabin for (further)instructions. When he approaches the area where the cabin was initially, it seems to have jogged on.

As the viewer we initially see the reaction on John’s face, and then the camera pans to his point of view. As soon as this happens there appears to be spot of red on the left of the screen, and by spot i mean smoke. What is that???

Maybe it is a dodgy download or im losing the plot, but im fairly certain there is something there. Oh and i am really sorry if this has been spotted before, it seems that always happens when i try and input something on this site!

This is what I see? I do see a red dot but no smoke.

This is the correct link, and,there is a definite red flash,that Locke appears to be looking at. Very interesting.

so anyway, what the hell is that? First i thought it was just some sort of lighting effect, but apparently that happens all the time in tv shows and producers actually hire guys to look out for stuff like that...

That is interesting.Truly, I would have thought it was just the light reflecting on the lens, but, with Lost you never know.
I'll have to check the full scene out....in two months when I get my Lost dvds.

Van, I have checked it out and I am uncertain as to what it is, I can't think of anything. I will show some mates and see what they think.

Norf west is norf of the river which to a sarf londoner is alien territory! I do however have some experience of being norf of the river, I resided in Colindale for 20 weeks once and I went out with a bird from New Southgate and I once was booed off a karaoke in Finchley!

I am off to Amsterdam in just over a month and there are some red lights over there which I will be paying serious attention to

Maybe it's a giant polar bear and the camera picked up some "Redeye"
