LOST & your life...
Since we began watching LOST, my husband & I have both become strangely aware of our surroundings in any way that relates to the show. Sometimes it seems like the more we try to get away from it the more we notice it...little things like my HUGO hand soap, husband lost his ring and found it in baby's crib, things like that. Anyway, probably our subconscious picking up things we wouldn't have noticed before.......like how I never read a billboard unless it says "Do billboards work? This one just did!" Please share any similar experience!
I will start with our weirdest. This freaked us out.
We went on a cruise with another couple that was really into LOST as well in 2005 (not like you, but they watched it & we chatted about it). At our first dinner our waiter for the week introduced himself to us & as he walked of he hummed "We are everybody".....then again when he brought the bread, & again when he walked off. We all four heard it.... Clear as day 3 freaking times. When he brought our appetizers we asked him if he was a LOST fan. He had no idea what we were talking about. He had never heard of the song or the show.

She's fine, but probably won't be in any flashbacks for a while.

OK seriously, first I must say that my husband talks in his sleep all the time, but about 3 months ago, he told me " I love her". It waSn't all Sawyer like, but still creepy.
Funny stuff...one night he tried to sell me plums...get your heads outta the gutters!!! They were invisible plums!!

Synchronicity:
This has happened several times over the last couple months. My brother and I will talk about a movie and invariably it will be on TV in the next couple days. The first was "North by Northwest", The second was Hunt for "Red October", and the third was "The Thing". Granted they are popular flicks, but three times in such a short period? We are either in tune into the cosmos more so than usual OR the cable company has our apartment bugged.

Don't mistake coincidence for fate, Sham.
How many other movies have you talked about that didn't get shown? It's easier to forget or disregard the stuff that doesn't hit - it's the way the human brain works (some innate wiring about significance theoretically linked in to a survival instinct).
I am a cynical bastard, though, when it comes to people talking about fate and 'amazing' inexplicable occurencies.

Re: LOST & your life...
That same thing happens to me with the Simpsons. The local Fox channel here shows one every day at 6pm. Sometimes at work i'll remember some scene like:
Lisa: Will you be lecturing from a standardized text or using the more Socratic method of interactive class participation?
Homer: Yes, Lisa. Daddy's a teacher.
Then POW! That episode comes on that night.
But since I think I've seen the Simpsons at least once a day for the last 15 or so years, i chalk it up to my subconscious recognizing the re-run pattern.

Re: LOST & your life...
So I was talking one night with a friend about the worst movies we loved growing up and one of my favorite bad movies is called Solarbabies with Jason Patrick and Jamie gertz . It`s your average roollerskate, end of the world government controlls all the worlds water movie. Then I did a quick DVR search and there it was on, once and on a channel I don`t get but for unknown reasons I got the channel for that movie.Shamballa wrote:Synchronicity:

I was watching the new Password game show last night
and all I could think was that Rosie O`Donnell had Lost
on the brain, or at least whatches it.
Password= Egg
clue: hatch
Rosie: open
Maybe a bit far fetched or perhaps I`m the one with Lost on the brain!
