Pics of your favourite local scenes
Inspired by MSHL's holiday pics thread, which I didnt want to completely hijack, I thought I would start a new one for you to show your favourite local spots! So here are mine.....
This is Chalice Well in Glastonbury...not really local to me, or in Wales, but its about 80 miles away and one of my favourite places in the UK - its a spot where Jesus apparantly drank form the well on his visit to Glastonbury and has since been a major pilgrmige site for Pagans and Christians who mimick the trek through Glastonbury, Stonehenge etc. It really is a very beautiful and inspiring place.
My little Welsh town (well not mine, I just live there lol)
And to show just how beautiful Wales is, on a sunny day anyway lol, this isnt far from me....

Its definitely a very special place. I have only lived in Wales 4 years but so far its been the best 4 years of my life, thats mainly down to meeting my other half but also because theres something very magical about Wales....the people aswell as the landscape...dunno it just kind of makes you look at life in a more peaceful way

Also close by is the Southbank precinct
and the Botanical Gardens which is about 10 minutes walk from where I live

The view is nice, I overlook the Port Phillip Bay, the rialto and the casino.
It is nice but being up so high means that it can be very chilly in winter!
